Tomorrow: Inside the LVP Granite Fund — What Wholesale Investors Need to Know

At Barker Wealth, we spend a significant amount of time evaluating fund managers, their track records, and the structures they bring to market. Most don’t make the cut. The LVP Granite Fund did — and tomorrow, you can hear directly from the people behind it.

If you haven’t registered for our exclusive webinar yet, this is your reminder that it is on tomorrow, Wednesday 29th April at 11:00 AM AEST.

Why Real Assets, and Why Now

The current environment is one of the more challenging we have seen for traditional portfolio construction. Elevated interest rates, persistent inflation pressures, and ongoing geopolitical uncertainty have tested equity-heavy portfolios and forced investors to think more carefully about where genuine diversification and income can be found.

Real assets including land, property, and businesses with regulated or government-supported cashflows have historically offered a degree of insulation from the volatility of listed markets. They tend to be long-duration, income-generating, and less correlated to daily market sentiment. For investors seeking to preserve and grow capital in the current climate, the case for real asset exposure is well supported.

The challenge has always been access. This asset class has largely been the domain of large superannuation funds and institutional investors, for whom the ticket sizes and liquidity terms were workable. For wholesale investors, the doors have historically been closed.

That is the gap the LVP Granite Fund is designed to address.

About Liverpool Partners and the Granite Fund

Liverpool Partners (LVP) manage over $1.8 billion in institutional funds and hold AFSL 429777. The Granite Fund is their latest offering, and it has been structured specifically to give wholesale investors exposure to the type of real asset portfolio that has traditionally sat inside large institutional mandates.

The fund targets returns of 12% to 15% p.a. with a target yield of 5% to 8% paid quarterly and monthly liquidity available to investors. As with any investment, these are targets and not guaranteed. The webinar will cover the structure, the risks, and the portfolio composition in detail.*

What makes the Granite Fund worth examining closely is the background of the portfolio manager.

Richard Chapman: The Manager Behind the Fund

Richard Chapman is Granite’s portfolio manager and the architect of its seed portfolio. He brings more than 20 years of experience allocating institutional capital to real assets, most recently as Head of Private Markets at Qantas Super, a role he held before the fund was acquired by Australian Retirement Trust.

That transition is directly relevant to the opportunity now available. Assets that were previously held within a large superannuation structure are now accessible to wholesale investors through the Granite Fund. The same assets, the same manager, a different vehicle.

Chapman will be presenting directly at tomorrow’s webinar and will take live questions from attendees.

What We Will Cover Tomorrow

The session is structured to give you a genuine understanding of the fund, not a sales presentation, but a proper look at the mechanics, the portfolio, and the thinking behind it.

Topics will include the fund’s structure, strategy, and portfolio composition; LVP’s investment philosophy and sustainability-led approach; the key themes and opportunities the team is currently focused on; and a live Q&A where you can put your questions directly to Richard and the LVP team.
